About Us

Words by Rebecca

Rebecca writes a lot. She’s pretty damn good at it. Everyone should start bugging her to write something about herself here, because this short-ass paragraph that Ben plonked together doesn’t begin to cover it.

Ben’s been drawing since he was three. He started with train tracks, then he added trains, and later came spaceships and guns (not on the trains). Eventually he got around to drawing people. He’s had less relevant training than he would like, and currently gets by on massive amounts of talent.

This site is a monument to outrage. There are things that in this world that simply should not be. Their very existence is a poison that corrupts and decimates all it touches. We look around and see these things, and they inspire such anger and indignation that we’re left with no choice but to lash out in whatever way we can. Celebutantes. Reality TV. People who have had fame bestowed upon them for no discernible reason. An entire culture that revels in its own stupidity. We cannot destroy these monsters, so we do the next best thing: we make fun of them.

Contrary to popular opinion, we don’t hate the internet, or pop culture. We don’t even hate internet memes. Well, maybe some of them. No, what we hate is the abuse of internet memes and pop culture. And make no mistake, they are being abused. Out there, every day, people take something that started innocently, something that was once beautiful and wonderful, and they drag it through the mud and stomp all over it and drain it of any life and happiness. And that’s what we’re railing against.

There are some who say that it’s only going to get worse. That’s alright, we’ll still be here, fighting the good fight, making fun of stupidity.
